Best Burn Practices
Best Burn Practices
Get the most from your candle by following these simple steps.
- Always trim the wick to 1/4" before every single new burn.
During the burning process, carbon builds up on the wicks. This is normal, however if you re-light a wick that has this carbon build up it can cause excess soot and heat.
- Always burn your candle long enough for the melted wax to reach the sides of the vessel, about 2 - 3 hours, before extinguishing it.
Allow your candle to burn long enough to permit the top surface of the wax to melt completely, from the wick all the way to the edge of the candle's container. Not only will this release as much scent as possible but it also will stop tunneling; where the candle only melts down the middle and soon put itself out.

I've always loved the smell of fresh ground or brewed coffee, more so than the actual taste to be honest. The scent of Favorite Coffee Shop instantly relaxes me. I like the uniqueness of the blend that has a hint of sweetness to the smell so it's not just a single smell of strong coffee. I'm saving some of it for Fall when the weather is cooler and darker, it'll be the perfect complement for the season.
